Our Hostel - "Home from Home"

We are located in the historical center, in the most famous street in Moscow - Old Arbat. The street has existed for more than 400 years. Only in this magical place can you feel the crossing of the past and present. The huge amount of cafes, restaurants, night clubs, 24-hour shops safely adjoin to museums, ancient monuments and lovely houses of the last centuries. Since the 18th century in this area a lot of hotels have been built. But today many of them no longer exist. We want to revive this good tradition, to allow you to feel the spirit of the history of Russia, creating conditions in which you can really have a rest from your travels and regain enough strength to see the other interesting sights of Moscow .

We will gladly receive you with Russian hospitality and make your stay with us unforgettable.

We are located in an ancient building, 100 years old , 5 minutes on foot from the metro station, and it is very close to the Kremlin, Red square, the Temple of the Christ of the Saviour and other famous monuments of Russian culture.

Also for your comfort there are :6 rooms, kitchen, the common room with TV and other conveniences.

How to find us:

Our address: Arbat street, house no. 49, entrance 29(the entrance located at the back of the building), Apartment no. 9. Metro – Smolenskaya (blue dark line)

From metro station Smolenskaya (blue dark line) turn right and walk to Macdonald’s. Turn left to Arbat Street and walk to Hard Rock Café. Across from it you will see an 8 storey house.On the first floor of it is located a bank, souvenir’s shop ,post office ,etc. At the end of this house turn right to the Plotnicov street and turn right for a second time after the restaurant “Áîńôîđ” (Bosfor), to the yard. You will see a 4 storey yellow outhouse. Just walk around it to entrance 2 (this will be written above the entrance door), on the intercom please dial 9 and you have arrived! The landmark to find us is the Post office which is located very close by.

We will open the door. Rise to the 2nd floor.

By taxi: taxis from the airports cost between 50 and 70$. If you are arriving into Domodedovo airport there is a fast train into Paveletsky station for the current price of 100 rubles. It’s a very good service and from Paveletsky you can either get the metro or a taxi to “Home from Home”.

By bus: buses leave from Sheremetyevo airport to Metro Rechnoi Voksal, from there you can get the metro to “Home from Home”.
